About the 2019 Escape

Except for the reshuffling of a few packages and features, the 2019 Ford Escape is unchanged. A trio of engines awaits your choice, including a 168-hp 2.5L I4, a 1.5L EcoBoost®, or a 245-hp 2.0L EcoBoost featuring Twin-Scroll technology. Add the Class II Trailer Tow Package and the final engine tows up to 3,500 lbs. of trailer.

Parking Prowess

Parking becomes more convenient with available Enhanced Active Park Assist. For example, it can scan for parallel parking spots and alert you when it finds one. It then manages steering into the space as you take charge of the accelerator, braking, and gear shifts. The Side Sensing System alerts you when you get too close to obstacles on either side.

Stylish Seating

The 2019 Ford Escape offers four trim levels: S, SE, SEL, and Titanium. The S comes with cloth front bucket seats and a six-way manual driver seat. The Titanium ups the ante with leather upholstery and power 10-way adjustments on both the driver and front-passenger seat. Driver position settings can be stored in memory.

Awards & Accolades

The first-ever Car of the Year distinction from Popular Mechanics went to the 2013 Ford Escape. Since that time, the vehicle became the winner of the Cars.com Compact SUV Challenger. From 2017 to now, the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration praised this crossover with a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating.
